All orders are prepared and dispatched from Sheffield, United Kingdom.
Orders are typically processed within 1- 3 working days unless otherwise stated.
During collection launches, studio events or holiday periods, dispatch times may occasionally vary.

Duties and import taxes are included within your checkout total. No additional fees will be requested upon delivery.
Rest of World

Estimated 10 - 28 working days.
Import duties and local taxes may apply and remain the responsibility of the customer.
Studio Collection
Collection from the AKOEA studio may be arranged by appointment.
Please contact us after purchase to arrange a suitable collection time.
Returns
We accept return requests within 14 days of delivery for eligible items.
To request a return, please contact us by email as soon as possible. Once your return request has been approved, return instructions and the appropriate return address will be provided.
Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.
Returned items must arrive back in their original condition, unworn and with original tags attached where applicable.
Please ensure items are carefully packaged before return.
Items that do not meet these conditions may not be accepted and may be returned to the customer.
Non Refundable Items
The following items are non-returnable:
• rental garments
• studio event bookings
• made-to-order or customised pieces
• earrings for hygiene reasons
• items sold with clearly stated condition notes
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless an item arrives damaged or incorrect.
We strongly recommend using a tracked delivery service and retaining proof of postage, as we cannot take responsibility for parcels lost in transit.
Refunds
Once received and approved, returns are typically processed within 5 working days.
Refunds are issued via the original payment method. Depending on your provider, funds may take an additional 5-10 working days to appear in your account.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Return Timeframe
Approved returns must be sent within 14 days of delivery.
Items returned outside the approved return period may not be accepted and may be returned to the customer.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you believe your item has arrived damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and supporting imagery where possible.

Rental Terms
Selected garments from the AKOEA collection are available for temporary use for editorials, events and special occasions.
Rental availability is limited and arranged through enquiry.
Rental bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.
Customers may be responsible for repair or replacement costs in cases of significant damage, loss or alteration.
AKOEA - Authenticity & Conditions
AKOEA works with a combination of contemporary designers, sourced vintage and archive garments.
Each piece is individually selected for its form, material quality and overall condition.
Vintage and archive garments may naturally show signs of age, wear or previous use.
These characteristics are considered part of the individuality and history of the piece. Any notable imperfections, repairs or alterations will be described where relevant.
